Any version of Clue can be used if you'd like. You're free to use whatever map you'd like, it's just some maps are specifically tailored for Prop Hunt. Though, you're not limited to ph_ maps anyways. Quick look on the workshop and I found a Prop Hunt version of Clue. I think it might allow downloading of the currently played map if I'm reading that correctly but you'll have to try it see, if not you may have to upload it to one of the above sites I listed.īut from the workshop we can only get Clue. Though Addon Share is a great tool to have as well if you don't want to sort out a collection. To create a game: change your game mode to Prop Hunt (click on Sandbox in the bottom right hand corner of the main menu), then Start New Game. I definitely recommend making a Workshop collection you can add to whenever and having your friends subscribe to it, that way everything is all in one place. Honestly, using maps which are already on the workshop make things infinitely easier. If the map is on the workshop feel free to send them a link to subscribe so they can download it.

Sure, you could always upload whatever map to someplace like Dropbox, Mega, or Mediafire and send a download link to your friend. Try checking in your download or downloads folder. Check out this very simple Prop Hunt map to play on with friends, or your server A lot of props are available, and theres plenty of room on the map.
